Step one
Use various shapes and heights for interest. They don’t all have to be the same color or material. I just used white wood since it’s what I had right where I was working.
Step two
Add your largest element first and work some greenery or florals around it.
I used a large script word, but you could start with a framed picture, baby shoes, or some other piece of memorabilia.
Step three
Tuck in more greenery and add some plants for vertical interest. I used the cubes as both stands and containers. They are a great element that pull double duty!
Step four
Add florals and some light. Light is magic! Candles, fairy lights, votives… they all make everything look super festive. Try and add some into every element to catch the eye and reflect off of the metal, polished wood, and glass that are in your designs.
